Connect Google Ads
Connect Google Ads when you want CustomerFlows to show which campaigns produce real pipeline revenue, not just clicks. The connection can import spend, match Google click IDs to leads, and send won-deal conversion feedback back to Google Ads.
Google Ads attribution is available on all plans. Some reporting and feedback features may depend on your plan and account permissions.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- admin or standard access to the Google Ads account
- access to the Google account you will authorize
- the CustomerFlows tracking snippet installed on every ad landing page
- auto-tagging enabled in Google Ads
- at least one conversion action in Google Ads, or permission to create/select one during setup
If you use a manager account, confirm which child account should connect to the workspace.
Connect The Account
- Go to Settings, then Integrations
- Choose Google Ads
- Click Connect
- Sign in with Google and approve the requested access
- Select the Google Ads account CustomerFlows should use
- Choose the conversion action for won deals, or create one if prompted
- Save the connection
After saving, CustomerFlows starts matching captured GCLIDs to leads and deals. Spend and campaign reporting may take a short time to appear.
Conversion Feedback
When a deal is marked won or paid, CustomerFlows can send that result back to Google Ads as an offline conversion. This helps Google optimize toward leads that become paying customers, not just visitors who clicked an ad.
For best results:
- keep the tracking snippet on every landing page
- keep auto-tagging enabled
- use one clear conversion action for closed revenue
- make sure deal values are recorded before closing deals
- reconnect Google Ads if your account permissions, manager account, or conversion setup changes
Reconnect After Setup Changes
Reconnect Google Ads if:
- you changed which ad account owns the campaigns
- you changed manager-account access
- the selected conversion action was deleted or replaced
- CustomerFlows shows a connection warning
- support asks you to reconnect after a Google Ads migration or permission update
Reconnect from Settings, then Integrations, then Google Ads.
